DEW TOUR SKATE OPEN July 24, 2009 at 4:00 PM
 The Dew Tour, the world's premier season-long action sports tour, announced that its Skate Open will be held at the TD Garden on July 24-25. The event will feature the world's best athletes in skate vert and park and will play host to the ISF World Championships of Skateboarding along with a free music concert. For Saturday's finals, Action Zone tickets provide access to priority reserved seating for all finals contests on Saturday, in addition to official Dew Tour merchandise, a behind-the-scenes tour, athlete autograph session, merchandise discount coupon, Fast Pass access into all venues and interactive areas, and cold Mountain Dew. Reserved seating tickets guarantee seating for all finals competitions. Friday's event tickets include admission to all preliminary round of competitions held at TD Garden. Coming to Boston for the first time in the Dew Tour's five-year history, the event will feature the world's greatest talent in skateboarding and will be host to the ISF's World Championship of Skateboarding as well as open qualifier competitions. In addition to the skateboarding competitions that will be taking place, east coast rock band, Taking Back Sunday, will headline a FREE concert at the Verizon Wireless music stage on Friday, July 24 at 9:00 PM. The concert will take place at City Hall Plaza.
